Properties

DELTA®-VENT S is highly vapor permeable, allowing moisture within the roof to escape through the membrane. Its high permeability makes it an ideal underlayment for non- or poorly-ventilated roofs with concrete, clay, or slate tiles. The product is completely water proof, will protect the roof from wind-driven rain and snow. The underlayment is Class A fire-rated, and fulfills the requirements for an air barrier.

Material

DELTA®-VENT S is a super-tough, lightweight roofing underlayment. The 3-layer, high strength spun-bonded PP breather membrane is water vapor permeable, while completely waterproof and airtight. A fabric layer on the lower side protects the membrane against damage (e.g. roughly sawed sheathing). The matte gray color of DELTA®-VENT S prevents blinding glare during installation.

Application

DELTA®-VENT S is pleasantly light in comparison to bitumen and asphalt saturated roofing felts, making the installation quick and easy. This premium quality product unrolls quickly without skewing or buckling. The large roll size minimizes laps and maximizes productivity.
